This was pretty much me all day yesterday.
I got to be a mermaid!
Real tail and everything! I even had long blonde hair! It was awesome.
Although, my back/ legs are killing me now! The tail weighed somewhere around 15 lbs of vinyl-y stuff. Trying to move them was near to impossible, but it was so much fun going to the beach in them and sun bathing on the rocks! People stopping taking pictures trying to figure out what was going on never gets old.
There was even this girl, Bella - she was 11- who watched us when we were filming on the dock. She was in LOVE with mermaids, and was so mesmerized. Then when we slipped out of our tails, we asked if she would like to get in one. So she slipped into a tail, and Jennie and I adorned her with mermaid-y jewelry. It was so cool to see the look on her face!
I love my job so much. Being able to change kids lives, be a good role model, and make an impression that will last a life time.
Although I am in a lot of pain, it was all worth every tail flip <3
